DOWNLOAD BARCODING PROGRAM
The barcodes
are simple and easy to do... Once you have the barcode program
on your computer. You have several options:
1.
(Recommended) Print off an entire page (30) or half a
page (15) of each price you may want to use. Example: 15
$5.00, 15, $6.00, 15, $7.00, 15, 8.00, etc. When you price
your items, pick the one you need. Use only the ones you
need now and save the others for the next sale.... ( your
seller number will not change!!)
2. Sit at
your computer with your items and figure out exactly how many
labels you need at a specific price.
PLEASE CALL OR EMAIL US IF YOU HAVE ANY PROBLEMS,
WE ARE HAPPY TO WALK YOU THROUGH THE PROCESS. Tess

Welcome to the CCC barcode program! We are
excited to offer this to our sellers. This guide is
written with the busy mom in mind, even ones that may not be
extremely familiar with computers. You will only need to
download this once....just leave it on your computer for
future sales.
Step 1. Print this page of
instructions for easy reference.
Step 2. Go to Barcodes page and click
on "download the program".
Step 3. A dialog box will pop up asking "Do
you want to run or save this file?". Click on "Run" or "Open".
Another box will open saying "The publisher could not be
verified. Are you sure you want to run this software?" Again
click "run" or "open".
Step 4. The next box will be a Winzip Self
Extractor. It will say "To unzip all files in
ccclabeling.exe to the specified folder press the Unzip
button." Click on the
Browse button and choose the "Desktop", click "OK"
and then click on "Unzip". (This places the program on your
desktop so that you can easily access it.) Next you will see a
pop up box stating you have unzipped 4 files
successfully. Click "OK" and close the Winzip box by
selecting the "X".
Step 5. There should be 4 new icons on
your desktop.... setup.lst, setup, ccclabels and Carolina
Bar.... Double click on the setup icon (should look like a
computer with a box in front of it.) This begins the
installation process. On the first screen click "OK".
The next screen has a button that again looks like a computer
with a box in front of it. Click on it. In the
next box click continue.... It sets up the necessary program
files. The program will be listed as CCC labeling.
After it loads a message will come up, "CCC labeling setup was
completed successfully." Click "OK".
Step 6. Next we will load the Carolina Bar Font
(one of the 4 icons). It looks like a page with a
capital T in it.
VISTA
USERS..... Right click on it and select "Install".
Windows Vista will load the font for you.
ALL
OTHER USERS.... Right click on it and select
"OPEN". When the font opens you will double click on
"done" (near the top of the icon screen).
Step 7. TURN OFF your computer. This
is very important!!!!
Step 8. Let's clean up the desktop. You can
highlight the following icons (by right clicking on them) and
click "delete" or drag them to your recycle bin.
Setup.lst, Setup.exe or maybe just Setup, Carolina Bar
and CCClabels icon. This just deletes the unecessary icons
from your desktop.
LOOKING GOOD AT THIS POINT---WE'RE ALMOST
THERE!!!
Step 9. To open the CCC labeling program click
on the Start Menu, select All Programs and look for CCC
labeling in the list. When the program opens you should see a
small yellow screen with these words across the
bottom.... "You should not be able to read this. If you
can, click on the fonts button and then double-click on the
CarolinaBar-B39-25F2 BoldItalic (truetype) icon." If it
is blank you will still need to load the font. It's
easy.... Click on the fonts button and find CarolinaBar icon
(they are in alphabetical order). Click on it and then at the
top of the fonts screen click Done. Close the window by
clicking the X. Close the barcode program by clicking
on Cancel.
Step 10. Last step.... Let's make it easy
to find in the future. Go to the Start button, choose
All Programs, look for CCC Labeling. Click on it once to
highlight and it should shoot out a drop box with the words
ccc labeling. Right click on it and Choose Send
to....then choose Desktop. This puts the program on your
desktop so that it is easy to find!!
Step 11: You are now ready to tag your items!!!
GOOD NEWS-- you don't need to do this again...once it's on
your computer you can reuse it as many times as you
like. Reopen the CCC labeling program, click
Continue. Now, simply input your seller number and click
the disk icon (this saves your number-- you won't have to
enter it each time you open the program). Now you enter
the quantity of barcodes you need for each price you plan to
use. If you DO NOT WANT your items to go half price,
uncheck the box. All unchecked boxes will have a red dot
printed on the label. When you have the information
entered you may click PRINT LABELS. The program totals
the number of labels you are requesting to help you know how
many label pages you need. (30 labels are on each page).
Use regular address labels (1" x 2 5/8 ') Avery 5160, 8160 or
similar. Print the labels and simply place them onto the
bottom of your index card.
YOU
KNOW YOU HAVE DONE EVERYTHING RIGHT WHEN YOUR INDEX CARDS LOOK
